ECISD Introduces GradeBook Parent Portal

East Chambers ISD has introduced the GradeBook Parent Portal to our website. This system will allow parents to access their child's grades at any time from any computer with internet access. Parents may also set up their accounts to receive email alerts about their child's progress under certain conditions. Each student should have received an assigned portal ID which was mailed.

Grades will be updated each night; attendance and tardies will be updated about every hour beginning at 10:00 a.m. If you have any questions, contact Brenda East at 296.6100.

Accelerated Reading Program Enhanced

ECISD recently expanded the Accelerated Reading program by making over 100,000 quizzes available to students. This increase allows students a vast opportunity for reading selections from school, the public library, and home that are a part of the accelerated reading program.

Parents should still check with their child's reading teacher to be sure of their child's reading level. In addition, parents can check online to determine if a book has a quiz associated with it. Information on how to determine if a book has a quiz can be found at this link.
