HS Student Council Attends Spring Convention
StuCo Attends Spring Convention

The High School Student Council attended the District 17 Spring Convention at the Beaumont Civic Center on Wednesday, February 27, 2008. 

Attendees voted on district officer schools for 2008-2009 and attended break-out sessions to get  new   project  ideas on  Pride and Patriotism, DASH, Community Service, Teacher  Appreciation,    Outstanding   Student

Council, and Energy and Environment.  Keith Hawkins was the keynote speaker.  The East Chambers Student Council turned in project report forms in Pride and Patriotism, Community Service, and DASH.  They will receive awards for their projects at the State Student Council Convention in Arlington in April.
