Acceptable Use Policy(AUP) - With the
current push for computer technology in the classroom, many
educators and parents fear dangers that the uncensored
Internet might hold for children. Acceptable use policies are
one of the various elements used to defuse such dangers by
restricting the ways in which a network or the
Internet may be used. Below are
links to the Acceptable Use Policy form that ECISD utilizes to
verify that students and parents have read the district's
policies regarding this matter.
HS teachers can use this
link to locate the 2007-2008 district-generated lists of
returned AUPs.
JH/INT teachers can use this

Sponsors,
teachers, and coaches should refer to these lists regarding
students prior to utilizing computers, Internet, or
publishing information on the district and/or teacher
