• The Technology Application TEKS are organized by grade clusters and high school courses. Students should be able to demonstrate proficiency with specific grade cluster TEKS before they exit the target grades of 2, 5, and 8. For more information about these TEKS, please visit this link at the Texas Education Agency web site. Prekindergarten students do not have specific TEKS, but rather guidelines. These guidelines can be found at this Texas Education Agency link.

Visit Chapter 126 of the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills for Technology Applications for Elementary, Middle School, and High School.

• In addition, all teachers should be able to demonstrate proficiency of the same Technology Application TEKS covered in Grades K-8.

• Student proficiencies based on the Technology Application TEKS have been written for ECISD students. See binder for Grades PK-8 proficiencies.
